2. Drop Off or Ship Your Flowers

Local Customers: Drop off your flowers at Simply Roses Florist, 124 South Nova Rd., Ormond Beach, FL. No appointment needed. Open Monday–Friday 9–5 and Saturday 10–2
Shipping Customers: Overnight your flowers to us and follow our Shipping Instructions to ensure your bouquet arrives in the best condition

Estimated turnaround time for preserved bridal bouquet orders is 4–6 months. Premade items ship within 2 days.

3. We Handle the Rest

Once we receive your flowers, we begin the preservation process right away to keep blooms as fresh as possible
Flowers are carefully dried and then designed into your chosen pieces
All flowers are preserved, and the best blooms are used for your order. Flowers are not returned
Our team creates your pressed or resin pieces with great care and attention to detail

4. Updates & Approvals

You will hear from us at key steps in the process:

When we receive your flowers, we’ll email photos of what arrived
When your larger products are designed, approximately 2 months in, we’ll send a photo for design approval for trays, blocks, arches, and similar items
When your products are ready to ship, we’ll confirm your shipping address before sending your order

5. Delivery Back to You

Once cured and polished, your products are securely packaged and shipped to you
Tracking details will be provided once your order is on its way
Expect your finished preservation pieces 4–6 months after we receive your flowers

In order to have your flowers arrive to us in the best condition, please follow all instructions carefully. Proper packaging and timing are key to ensuring your bouquet can be preserved beautifully.

Following your event and before you ship, keep your flowers in a vase with fresh water in a cool place. Do not freeze or refrigerate your flowers.

Gather Your Materials

• Sturdy cardboard box (slightly larger than your bouquet)
• Plastic bags or wrap
• Paper towels
• Floral or painter’s tape (gentle tape preferred)
• Packing peanuts or bubble wrap
• Crumpled tissue paper or newspaper
• Ziplock bags for any loose petals or small flowers
• Ice packs or coolant block (optional but highly recommended in warm weather)

Step 1: Preparing Your Flowers

• Cut ½”–1” off the bottom ends of the stems at a diagonal with sharp scissors. Pat stems dry. Do not cut too close to the blooms
• If your bouquet is already dry, skip this step
• Remove any ribbons, keepsakes, or family heirlooms you don’t want included in your preserved piece

Step 2: Wrapping Your Bouquet

• Loosely wrap your bouquet in tissue paper or packing paper (as you’d see in a grocery store bouquet). Wrap the bouquet as a whole, not each flower individually
• Do not wrap your bouquet in plastic, bubble wrap, or wet paper towels - this causes mold

Step 3: Packing the Box

• If using a coolant block or ice packs, tape them securely to the bottom of the empty shipping box. Do not place them directly against the flowers
• Make a nest of crumpled paper or packing peanuts on top of and around the coolant
• Place the wrapped bouquet in the center of the nest and cushion the sides with more packing material. The goal is to stabilize the bouquet so it doesn’t shift
• Add extra packing paper at the top before closing

Step 4: Labeling & Identification

• Seal the box with packing tape and mark it “FRAGILE”
• Clearly label the outside of the box with the full name on your order, your order number, and a callback phone number
• Inside the box, include your name, wedding/event date, email, and phone number, along with your DIY packing slip and deposit check or online receipt if applicable

Step 5: Shipping Timeline

• Ship your bouquet overnight within 24–48 hours of your event
• Flowers must arrive to us no later than 4 days after your event to be usable
• We recommend scheduling your carrier trip late in the day, right after placing flowers and coolant in the box, so they stay fresh as long as possible
• If your bouquet is already dried, an expedited service (not necessarily overnight) is acceptable
• We recommend UPS, FedEx, DHL, or USPS Priority Overnight. Do not select signature required
• During hot months, add sealed ice packs (in ziplock bags) to keep flowers cool, but don’t let them touch the flowers

Step 6: Notify Us!

Once you’ve shipped your flowers, send us the tracking number. This allows us to prepare for your delivery and begin preservation right away

Pro Tips

• Ship early in the week to avoid flowers sitting in a warehouse over the weekend
• Keep flowers in water until shipment time but never fridge or freezer
• Do not use “You Pack & Ship” services — they often cost far more than USPS, UPS, or FedEx
• If shipping for a Saturday or Sunday delivery, please call us first so we can provide an alternate address
• For international orders (Canada and island destinations), we’ll provide a Floral Express Kit, but you must arrange a service that can deliver overnight or within 2 days
